Description

One of the better routes here. It's relatively steep with lots of small incut holds. There's a great section of sustained 5.10 climbing between the 2nd and 5th bolts.

Due to its moderate grade it sees a fair amount of traffic on busy days.

Location

Silver Streak is belayed from the second from bottom belay platform. Walk down from the parking lot and take the main trail downhill to the route.

Protection

8 bolts. Steel biners on the anchors. As always, if doing multiple laps on a route, please use your own draws, then lower off the fixed biners when done.

Anchors have been replaced with 1/2" bolts as of 10/19/14. One of the old chains was left on a new bolt. Anchor bolt locations are due to rock quality.
Thanks to the ASCA for the hardware. Steel Biners have been added to the anchor.
Good route, pretty straight forward with one 5.10 move. Oct 19, 2014

Finally climbed this route again. Much tougher than I expected, though the moves flow once you figure it out. Move quickly to avoid the pump! Clipping the 5th & 6th bolts can be cruxy. Nov 8, 2014

I love this type of rock, very crimpy and slopey, and when combined with the slight overhang you get a route that makes you try to climb with better efficiency and technique. May 9, 2016
