Warning Access Issue: RAIN & WET ROCK DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Start to adjacent right of Richard's Rift up big blocks, next to a small manzanita.  As that gap narrows, continue up that easy crack past two bushes. Finish up and left to bolted rap anchor atop Richard's Rift, or up and right to higher summit block bolted rap anchor.

More suitable for a 1st outdoor trad lead. It has more straightforward protection than on the other "easy" ones that have unnecessarily problematic flaring thin crevices.

Crack pretty clean by now, prob from the many times of toproping readily done after adjacent route had been led.

Location Suggest change

Narrower crack that runs parallel and to immediate right of Richard's Rift.

Protection Suggest change

Single cams from 0.75 to 3", plus an optional extra BD Red #1.
