Climb the blocky broken pillar between two bushes, just right of the center of the Corpse Wall. Above the 1st bolt work up and right on shallow cracks and scoops to a large block that forms a finger crack. From the top of the block move left onto the face and palm the edge of the wide crack on the left and knobs to the top.

Begin in the broken blocky area between the Scrub Oak & Manzanita bush just right of the middle of the wall. Between routes 6 & 7. Parallels Richards Rift at the top.

7 bolts & Fixe 2-ring anchor.

The lichen certainly adds a little spice. Apr 26, 2017
Well... this route cleared some lichen for alternate start , basically bolted an existing route and gave it a new name. Major demerits on style since you really have to force yourself to climb the face. The Santa Monicas are running out of real estate to bolt... so you guys might be getting a little desperate for projects.

That being said... its a beginners crag and a nice warm up and now you dont need to drag a rack along any more to climb the crack... so I'll begrugingly give it a few stars on fun factor and give it a ride when I'm around. Oct 14, 2017
