Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The Central Wonderland lies just past Wonderland Valley and is a good spot (with a few exceptions) to escape the crowds that are found at the Astro Domes and Lenticular Dome.

Getting There

Standard Wonderland approach past the Freak Brothers Dome after which Disneyland Dome and Thrutcher Dome will come into view on your right - you have arrived!

Consult the individual crags for more detailed approach information.

Plan on a 30 - 45 minute hike from the trailhead.
