Description

This cool route climbs face and thin crack on the left edge of the face. The crux move on this pitch is exiting the thin crack and was where the first ascent party used one aid placement (5.10 A1). The second pitch climbs face past 3 bolts straight above.

Protection

Thin pro to 2". Quickdraws for bolts.

careful with the 2nd pitch. it is kinda scary going up the face with just 2 old bolts. i almost chickened out and cut out right to the easy exits. i am glad i didn't. there is some good climbing on that pitch.

excellent route! Apr 8, 2010

If not mistaken, Woodward, Cranor and Hensel did the FA of the 2nd pitch as well as FFA of 1st pitch. Nov 24, 2003

The thin crack protects well with brass / small stoppers but the moves are sustained and committing. I remember placing a yellow HB to protect the crux and then hesitating before finishing the first pitch. Nov 24, 2003
