There is an incredible amount of loose rock on P1. 2nd pitch is so burly for me, I need to work on wide technique and how to change sides mid-pitch, but somehow was able to push through. I led P1, Matt led P2, Jeremy led P3. Fighter jets flying upside down 100ft from the wall as I topped out.

Jun 26, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. So psyched. Fantastic introduction for my first time in the Needles. Matt led 1+2, I led 3+4. Jeremy had a free ride on TRS behind us. BETA: 4th pitch takes a bomber red ballnut protecting the scary section, making it way more chill (reach high for it from the small ledge)… then, you’re only about ~5 feet runout on 5.11 before the blind (and bomber) #2 placement in the roof. Above that is all mellow
