5.12 7b+ 27 VIII+ 26 E6 6b 38 ● Rock Odyssey Apr 12, 2026 · Climbed this route with Jenny, a ton of fun, and very psyched to have a no falls day on it. 40 meter gym rope, 2 slings and a bunch of draws was perfect. In my opinion, this is a 4 pitch route that could be broken into 5. P1. 11+ slab, P2. 12- move into a traverse, P3. 5.9 traverse (linked with previous), P4. 12- arete, P5. 5.12 tricky roof. The rock at the end of the traverse is deceptively bad; we pulled a death block off by accident, and luckily, the belayer on Archangel below wasn't standing a few feet to the left. Regardless, fun route, great position, just be conscious of people below you. Also, the crux seems crazy hard first go, but is quite reasonable if you decipher the beta.
