Description
The main event at Notch Peak, featuring steep committing climbing that ultimately yields the summit. The most popular way up the face is "Book of Saturday," though other options exist, such as the 1986 Swiss Route, the first ascent of the face.
Getting There
Follow the approach to the Notch Peak Canyon Prow. From the top of the fixed line, head climber's right/south on a sandy footpath across a rocky gully. Continue along the sloping, rubble covered ledges below the north face, heading back west/downcanyon as you traverse beneath the face. Eventually a break in the short cliffs above allows passage up to the footpath immediately adjacent to the cliff, placing you near the base of "Notch Your Business." From here, climber's left takes you to "Book of Saturday," and climber's right heads past "Nightmare" on the way to "La Fin du Monde."
