In case you're interested, I'm a divorced (6 kids), white bearded, middle-aged male, whose weakest climbing muscle is between my ears. Not to say that I haven't climbed close to my physical potential at times, but I admit to being too adverse to falling. Still, I've been fortunate to climb from El Portrero to Squamish, put up a few routes in New Mexico (Mentmore), earn an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor cert., and even do some guide work in Texas.

Several times certified as a Wilderness First Responder, though I'd rather not use it, preferring sane and safe partners (especially since I've sobered) over reckless rope-guns.
