Quoted from Smith Rock State Park falcon guide:

"The original 1968 finish aided a bolt line on the overhanging summit block. Climb an easy bolted slab above the first-pitch anchor and free a short, knobby bulge with great protection and dizzying exposure."

Starts at the 3rd pitch anchor of Sky Ridge. Sky Dive is a variation to Sky Ridge which goes directly up the overhanging roof section rather than traversing out left to the handcrack 4th pitch of Sky Ridge.

Finishes as for Sky Ridge. 2 60m raps off the west face reach the ground.

For best style, access Sky Dive by climbing Orion (5.10b) into Risky Pass (5.10c) Jun 17, 2016

A steep boulder problem in the sky. An awesome finish to the Orion-Risky Pass link-up. Sep 13, 2018
Definitely recommend bringing a few small nuts and cams for run-out to third bolt. I think my partner placed a BD 0.4 cam and a BD #5 nut or so. Nov 10, 2018

Confirming what PortlandRob says, the run out between the 2 shared bolts with sky ridge and the bolt at the bottom of the boulder problem is pretty big, even though the climbing is easy.

Highly recommend putting in at least a single piece, 2 if you want to be extra safe. Tons of placements, but anything in the range of BD .3/.4 works Nov 12, 2018
