Location Suggest change

Start just left of the large boulder at the base of Mourning's Morning - about 6 or 7 ft left of MM. You could just start MM and move left on the ledge. This middle of this climb is probably the common way to approach the upper half of I've Always Been Crazy.

Description Suggest change

Begin up slightly obtuse climbing to a wide crack. Pass the wide crack to a ledge, and continue up towards the obvious splitter on the face above and slightly left. Climb the splitter and finish with a little more easier climbing to the rim. Crux is possibly passing the wide crack, or maybe climbing the splitter above.

Lots of rests like most Overlook climbs, not sustained. If only the splitter section was longer.

If the wasps are active in the crack right off the ledge, you can move left, like I did, and climb flakes/blocks around them (well kind of climb around them).

Pretty fun for the Overlook, but just okay for all climbing areas.

Protection Suggest change

Standard Overlook rack. A 5" cam will protect the wide section if you need.
