Access Issue: Climbing restricted due to tourist safety Details

ACCESS NOTE: Please note that the forest service has restricted climbing for any routes past the area of Red Wagon (just climber’s left of the Trinity Cracks) due to tourist safety. Local access groups are working to get this restriction lifted. None of the restricted routes are listed here on Mountain Project.

Description

Claw your way up the two lower offwidth sections to gain easier rock to the summit. Exit to the right of the horn shaped block at the top of the cliff. Belay off of a set back juniper.

Location

From the ground, scramble up boulders onto the platform just to the right of the obvious snag below Burnt Buns. The route is about 15 feet to the left of Cakewalk (5.12).
