Description

Mellow slab moves lead to steeper rock and a pumpy finish.

Location

Located on the West face, this is the route farthest left.

Protection

6 bolts to chains and an extra bolt at the anchors to aid the change out.

Currently the anchor requires you to thread two pieces of chain that are ~3 feet apart in order to rap or lower out. Only one of the two bolt hangers on the right (inline with the route) has chain-- the other hanger is bare. This doesn't conform to any reasonable logic and it complicates cleaning and rapping/lowering -- contrary to the stated aim of helping-- not to mention it puts a lot of stress on one's rope and the bolts. The top section is actually more interesting than it looks and requires some thought. I wouldn't call it 'pumpy'. Worth getting on. Sep 24, 2014
