I started climbing inconsistently when I was 15, but got more serious about sport climbing during college and made a handful of trips to the Red River Gorge on weekends. I first trad climbed in 2008 (near epic March 3rd ascent of the 1st Flatiron), loved it, and was lucky enough to live in Fort Collins, CO from summer '08 to summer '10, and climbed a lot.

I broke my neck in an unfortunate diving accident in August 2010 and I'm currently I'm C4/5 quad living a new and different -- but still quite fulfilling -- life back in my hometown just outside Detroit.
