Description Suggest change

Along with Toast to the left, Gruntle is another well-protected 5.10. It's a decent warm up, and is suitable for newer leaders who are ready for the grade.

Clamber up appealing step-like features, clipping two bolts slightly to the left of the most natural climbing line. Then start high-stepping, mantling, and generally gruntling your way to the anchors. The crux is up high and feels similar to the start of Amazing Face.

Location Suggest change

The rightmost of three bolted lines on the west-ish facing, more slabby sector of the Lower Tier.

Protection Suggest change

Five bolts (6" glue-ins, 2022) to pig-tail lower-offs.
