Description

The crux is the start. Solid climbing up past the bolt.

If one starts on Weak Nuts and steps right to Hallie's the grade is more consistent with the rating. Not sure which way Joe went.

I believe the climb is named for Joe Coty's granddaughter. Joe F.A.'d numerous NH high-quality climbs in the 1970's and 80's.

Location

With the addition of "Rattle Can" this is now the second bolted route on the main slab. (R > L after you reach the main slab from the Carpet Slab)

Protection

4 Draws to webing wraped around a tree.

This is the first climb on the Main Slab,. and is RIGHT of the obvous crack/groove of "Weak Nuts". The Main slab is about 75 ft left of the Carpet slab, which is the first slab you come to on the "yellow blazed" trail. Jul 12, 2014

Since the recent addition of "Rattle Can" on August 6, 2014 Hallie Haley is now the second climb on the Main Cliff. It's a great line on impeccable rock. Tricky moves off the ground lead to wonderful climbing, a must do. Aug 8, 2014
