Description

Climb the right side of the pillar just right of Cowboy Boot Crack. From the top of the pillar, step up to a pin, then continue up to the crack above. At the top, either step left to use the anchor for Cowboy Boot Crack, or build your own, and then downclimb off the back.

Location

This is located right of Cowboy Boot Crack.

Protection

1 piton, and a few cams or nuts will suffice. This shares the modern 2 bolt anchor with chains with Cowboy Boot Crack.

Probably true. Still, I felt compelled to lead it once. Not very good pro until the top. Mar 6, 2011

Stewart... I concur. Oct 20, 2009
This is one of those Garden routes that folks really shouldn't climb. That pillar is simply a large block that is marginally attached to the main wall. It will eventually fall off and climbing on it will definitely decrease the life of this feature. Besides, it really isn't a route worth climbing.... Sep 25, 2008
