Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Bluffdale, Utah.
This artificial crag located near the splash pad was clearly made to be climbed. Scattered with in-cut crimps and cracks this wall makes for some fun bouldering. The rock is surprisingly realistic and textured for being man-made. Wardle fields is a public park off of 2700 W.
Looking to get away from those long DMV lines? Come enjoy that sweet, sweet sound of the freeway when you drop your teenager off to take their learners permit test. Why sit around and watch cat videos on Reddit, when you could be getting a few sends in! This boulder is roughly 10 feet tall, and has a few lines with potential. Bring some chalk, shoes, a crash pad, and 30 minutes of your time. It can be seen from the Draper DMV parking lot. Park on the south side of the parking lot. It's just south east, easy to see from inside your car.
This wall spans a dry ravine right outside a neighborhood, and varies from 10'-20' tall. The rock has lots of great features but a ton of the good holds break with hardly any force, but there are still great solid holds everywhere. Make sure that your holds are solid before climbing. Lots of potential for sweet bouldering close to home. Drive up Juniper Crest Road in Herriman. Just past the entrance to the church parking lot on the right there's a blue sign for the Herriman Trail System. You can see the wall 300 yards from the road and the trail leading right to it. Just walk through the ravine. You could also park in the church parking lot and walk down down the ravine just south of the brick shed.
