Description
Ophir contains multiple areas. This is a shell to help organize this.
Note, this layer of organization was submitted to help with the way the database is structured during a restructuring of the database a while back. There's a bit of history in going from a school project to the MP.com of today. Now, you have to have similarly structured objects at the same level of organization, otherwise the restructuring doesn't work well
In particular, the better known crags here are Ophir Wall and Cracked Canyon. The Ophir Wall, tucked in a pretty nook, offers nearly a hundred routes on granitic rock up to 600 feet long and difficulties from 5.7 to 5.13c using both gear and bolts for protection. Cracked Canyon has 50ish routes in the 5.4 to 5.11+ range of difficulty in an amazing setting for climbing rock or ice. There are other smaller crags in the area that are not listed here.
So, any one who wants to take on this section (along with any other sections that are similarly not fleshed in) can contact me/us and I/we can reassign it to you to help fill it in! Thanks!
