Xenolith Dance
Sep 5, 2026 · 1 pitch. Follow. Michael led this tough sport route in one big pitch. He hung a few times, it was hard! I followed without my chalk bag (since Michael had it!). Fell once after 2nd bolt on that crux to get established on the features, then fell again near the top when I just had a foot slowly slip out of a slippery divot. A fun climb to follow, but dang would be heady to lead.

Sep 5, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. Did it again! The only repeat route on this trip. I led 1st pitch instead of 2nd this time. Swapped leads with Michael. The yellow totem locked in the first crux move super solid.

Fungus The Bogey Man
Sep 5, 2026 · 1 pitch. Lead / Onsight. I thought I was doing this route, but I followed the topo on one of the pictures to zag right up high and I'm pretty sure it was plain wrong. Ended up at this huge tree with just a terrible wide crack up or a sketchy traverse on a mossy/dirty ledge. I opted for the sketchy traverse and then climbed/walked up a gulley with dirt, but that did take me in one pitch to bullethead ledge. I belayed off a tree and we walked to Slot Machine.

Blazing Saddles
Sep 4, 2026 · Lead. Amelie led first pitch, I led the 2nd. I pumped out while I was attempting to pull the roof and I didn't have the energy to swing it up and around so I took a fall there. My 0.75 held well as expected. Finished it up after that but it's just a hard move! The rest of the pitch is moneyyy but scary as it leads up the epic roof.

Sep 4, 2026 · 2 pitches. Lead / Onsight. First 2 pitches to approach Blazing Saddles. I led first pitch. A few tough slab moves off the start, and then pretty straightforward. Amelie led the 2nd pitch.

Mooshie Corner
Sep 3, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. Fun first crack w a few hard moves, then great stemming w finger crack for the crux…but it was a bit scary being so close to a ledge. I put in 6 pieces through that section so was super pumped by the top
