Description
A tricky climb loosely following the rock climb put up by Mike Pelchat. Gear can be difficult to find.
P1: Follow the large left-leaning crack up to a few pitons on a ledge. Clip the pins before continuing up steeper terrain past another fixed pin worth backing up. Pull a few steep, difficult moves before ceding to easier but harder to protect terrain. Belay in the obvious alcove (small/finger-sized cams are helpful here) (M6/7)
P2: Enjoy a romp up a neve-filled corner (M3)
P3: Climb up a turf-filled groove before making a series of awkward moves onto a muted arete and past a small roof to easier terrain above. Tricky gear.
Rappel the route.
