2023 Update:

The whole route has now been cleaned and bolts have been added, allowing for a link to Solitude. Multiple large rocks were trundled, as well as hours of cleaning to remove lots of dirt. The route stays drippy after rain.

2022 Original Route Description:

This is the direct start variation of Solitude. The bottom 1/4 of the route is what differentiates it from Solitude. The first crux of the route involves climbing a wet crack/overhang, and from there follows the bolted path of Solitude, which has two cruxes, one towards the middle, and the overhanging roof at the very top. The name came from a heel hook onto the ledge of the first crux, which at the time of first ascent was full of mud/moss, so it left the climbers leg covered in mud.

Location Suggest change

Look for the roof containing the route Flower Sermon 5.13d, which is 30'-40' off the ground with a ledge underneath it. From there go to the right a slight bit, looking up ~15' there is a small ledge overhanging from the ground. This is the first crux, at the time of first ascent, water was constantly dripping from it.

Protection Suggest change

If you wish to lead Dirty Hooker and link it to Solitude, 9 quickdraws are required.
