Description Suggest change

Climb the huge corner on the left end of the cliff.  At the top of the corner, where the rock becomes overhanging, traverse left to the anchors/chains that are above "Coyote".  Named for an original style #2 Rigid Friend that I found laying on the ground at the base of the rocks the day I went out and climbed this route.  Engraved on the stem was, "Mike Jager Salina, KS."  An internet search revealed that he moved to Texas, hence the name for the route "Gone to Texas' on a route around the corner.

Location Suggest change

On the left end of the cliff is a large corner that has a wet streak in the bottom half.  I spent an entire day cleaning out rhododendron bushes and shoveling dirt out of the crack before I climbed it.  I had hoped that the cleaning would also make it dry out, but it is often wet.  It is usually dry in the fall, but still appears wet.  If it was dry, the route would get more stars.

Protection Suggest change

Standard rack, include the wider hexes for cams for the crack.
