Description [Suggest Change]

Thin, bolted face climbing, sandwiched in between two short crack sections.

Location [Suggest Change]

Starts right of Pecker Party, on a short right-trending crack. Climb up and left, then pass four bolts on right side of arete. Finish up short crack to summit. Descend via the South Crack rappel.

Protection [Suggest Change]

Four bolts, small to large gear. Bring extra cams to build an anchor at top.

I remember putting a nut in before the first bolt. I figured it wouldn't zipper the bolts. This was a good ten slab, although I remember it flaking a bit like its namesake. There's also a good deal of crumbly rock around the anchor situation, so watch out. Jan 12, 2011

One of my favorite ways to get up to sun deck! Definitely an underrated climb ,but it's worth the time! Dec 20, 2014
