DescriptionThis area covers crags south and southeast of Willow Hole, some of which have some of the longest approaches in all of Joshua Tree National Park.
Crags in this area include the following:
Blond Lust Rock
Book of Brilliant Things
The Flying Fortress
The Homestead Wall
Getting ThereMost of the crags in the area are approached from the vicinity of Willow Hole while the more southerly formations are perhaps best approach from the south by continuing past The Podium and over a rocky notch. Approach times vary from 1-1.5 hours assuming a normal hiking pace and that you don't get lost!
