Peyote Power
Mar 29, 2026 · 5 pitches. Lead / Onsight. RR2026 day 1 with Ava and Anna S. Followed Josh, Mira, and Cleo up. Great climb! Did it as 4 absolutely rope stretching pitches, and then a shorter pitch to top of P6 anchor. Twice had to ask to have belay device taken out to allow me to reach anchor (p2 and p4). Absolutely stellar pitch 3.

Dream of Wild Turkeys
Mar 27, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. RR instructor week 2026. With Will. 5 hours climbing, 1 hour 45 rappelling. Amazing climbing, amazing wall. Just fantastic experience. I led 1, 3, 5-6 (link), 9. Felt chiller than expected (nice bolting). Would absolutely do again (try gobbler for start). Met Brian and Adam on wall-gems of people.

Unimpeachable Groping
Mar 26, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. With Ryan. I led p1, Ryan linked 2-3, 4-5, I led 6, Ryan led 7. Some hanging on bolts from Ryan, and a fall on the roof move! Super fun. Made good time until the rope stuck on last rappel in crazy tag-in-hanger moment. Would totally do again. (Next time: blade runner?) Oh, and took a .4, .5, .75; didn't place any.

Group Therapy
Mar 26, 2026 · 7 pitches. Lead / Onsight. RR instructor week, with Mikel and Madison. Pitched it out per guidebook; I led pitches 4-7. If I did it again, would prefer to pitch it out as on MP. The “roof” bit was sort of fun, but not blow-your-mind cool, and the rest of the climb isn’t good enough to warrant the long and technical descent. I might feel differently if we had done the 5.8 finish.

Chicken Eruptus
Mar 26, 2026 · Follow. Will led. Not R-rated. Would lead, knowing that it will be a little spicy feeling (but safe). “Runout” above last bolt felt like it would be chill, and is not that long.

Plan F - Early Exit
Mar 26, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. First 10 on gear! Super great pro/stances; great for someone breaking into the grade who is ok with doing some moves with pro at ankles.
