May 13, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. p1 felt similar to other valley 5.7s but if you don't like laybacking you aren't going to like it. Strenuous but with plenty of good stances for rest along the way. Backpack was mildly annoying on the first few pitches. Routefinding seemed easier than for other similar wandery climbs in the valley. Used all the standard belays to maximize time in the shade. Top out ledge is so cool, was glad to have the backpack with extra water and snacks at this point.
