Got a Pair Like a Hare
Oct 4, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. Either got a pair like a hare or maybe suffering succotash? sport led onsite. I started this one and loved it, felt easy to me. I asked if it was the 8 and the others said no it's the 10. must be my style. i ended up climbing it again to clean it because everyone was so exhausted / heat stroked ha. It felt similar to Outrage wall in Mexico that way - the approach was a little steep, and hot, but I don't mind the heat. I climbed it differently the 2nd time - faster and noticed different features than when I was climbing slow and steady

Evil Shenanigans
Oct 4, 2022 · 1 pitch. TR. Night Climbing! I think it was this route - 2 over from one dead tear drop, they said it was an 11b. TR, slipped once in the dark but not a true fall, caught myself (if no rope, maybe would have given into the fall? I'll count it as an onsite)

All Tuckered Out
Sep 4, 2022 · Lead / Fell/Hung. I wanted to climb this but no one else wanted to lead it sooooo I went for it! ha. high first clip and crimpy. I scrambled up on lead and clipped in direct to the first bolt with my PAS. we fashioned a stick clip out of a literal stick and I clipped into the 2nd bolt. The crux is between 1st and 4th bolts - I did a lot of takes and was tugged up at one point and then went around to the arete to skip the hard stuff. Top is way better. Fun route, couldn't currently climb it without the rigamarole. I led it around sunset because no one else wanted to lead it but they all wanted to follow. The guys climbed it in partial or all darkness with headlamps. Everyone except Ben fell on it. I was glad to climb something hard to end the trip though!

Waves
Sep 4, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. I led both pitches (started on easier variation). easy but also a little spooky because it's crimpy. we all hungout at the top (6 of us) and enjoyed sunbathing, resting in the sun and dancing a bit too ha!
