Marionetta; a variation
An excellent variation on a Bridge Buttress classic gear line. Marionetta climbs the intro- crux of Marionette and then follows a creative campus rail towards Tree Route. Campus across to a much-needed no-hands rest on Tree Route, then step left onto the face and follow the bulbous rock in-between the two crack climbs. This 'tweaner' climbs through tricky big moves on excellent, finger-sized gear, culminating in a bouldery gaston crux with a final, entertaining mantle above bomber gear.
I'm told that another fun variation of this is to climb Tree Route, then step onto the face at the no-hands rest and follow the middle face.
