Warning Access Issue: NO DRONES ON NATIONAL PARKLANDS DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

The short, dirty, green face at the base of the stone steps climbs better than it looks.  A few horizontals, pockets, and some balancy moves make this a good choice for a new climber.

This route is named after a local climbing guide Kerry Allen, who fell accidentally fell from the top while leading a rappel trip.  Although the common story is that Kerry only broke his ankle, he also broke his back but was able to hide the injury to continue working for the summer.  Though Kerry has since passed, this route does little to honor his climbing abilities.

Location Suggest change

Located at the base of the stone steps leading to the access gully.
