Oct 5, 2024 · Follow. Tried it on Toprope with a Grigri extended with a sling to fit above my head. 2 Japanese climbers climbed it with double rack to 6 + 7. 7 definitely useful. Beta: double chicken wings at the bottom, then normal chicken wings, then squeeze. Hands + fingers sized cams needed for upper part. Try it on TR to determine the minimum gear needed. Have someone take photos from a line fixed from Moby Dick Center.

Oct 4, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Place Nr. 5 offset nut using the tree to protect the start. Double rack to BD 3, take 3 BD 4, BD 5 has no use. Save 1 BD 2 for the small roof. Had to lower to take 1 BD 4 from below because I got scared bumping one cam. Ahab is directly to the right. Ahab needs double rack to 6 + 1 Nr 7 (red). You can take great pictures of the climber in Ahab from Moby Dick!

Sep 28, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. With Julian Z. We did the original version and descended via the gully. The 2 chimney pitches took forever, we were back at the campsite at 2 am. For the Katwalk look at the picture in the topo/follow kairns. Do not descend too early left, traverse first/ also look at the map.
