Northeast Buttress
Aug 23, 2025 · Lead. With Ry. Access road in decent shape, would not recommend a sedan (or trailer) to the TH, there’s one decently deep water bar a few hundred meters from the TH. Camped at memorial, 3:30am start, base of p1 by 6am. Solo’d p1-p5 then pitched out p6-p12 (bivy ledge). Simul’d p13-16, then pitched out the remainder. Summit by 6pm, bivied on descent after the rappels. Woke up at 4am, at the top of Crack of noon raps at 6:30am, down them by 8:45am, back to camp by 10am, car by 11am. Water at propeller cairn and at the pocket glacier. None on route until at the bottom of the crack of noon raps after the talus boulder traverse. Watched the pocket glacier slide at 7am in the morning! Be safe out there folks.

Aug 21, 2025 · Lead. With Ry Guy. Lovely day out, didn’t see anyone else. Linked 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6. P1 had more bolts than we felt were necessary, we didn’t clip 3 of them due to how closely they were to the previous / next, YMMV. P2 lovely climbing. P3 was more of an approach pitch. P4 we did the 10c variation, but used the tree behind the finger crack to stem which made it feel more like a stiff 10b. P5 has an opening high mantle move (easy for a tall person), but grade eases off considerably. P6 was fun, nice combination of finger, jugs, flakes. We rapped it in 4 to the base by linking the second 15m and third 20m raps with a 70m rope.

Jul 27, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Interesting climb in a spectacular position. Felt the bolt spacing was all over the place, at times unnecessary with a crack adjacent to it, and others 15ft between bolts. 9:20am top of gondy 11am base of route (1h40) 11:40am start 3pm top out (3h20) 5pm gondy (2h) Total time of 7hr40min
