Neopolitan
Nov 28, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. First time at Wall Street- got there around 10am on Black Friday and it was fairly open. It was a circus by the time we were off the route. Fairly easy lead, but a little committing for our first time climbing sandstone slab. A few sections were especially sandy, but for the most part the friction was extremely good.

Nov 26, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Fun climb and first 5.8 trad lead! Just off parking lot with many tourists/climbers nearby. Crux for me was managing pump while placing gear- took a few extended rests in good jams. Surmounting the bulging crack halfway up was more difficult for me than the higher crux.

Otto's Route
Nov 25, 2025 · 1 pitch. Lead. Our first climb of the CO/UT trip. Bailed after p1. Felt uneasy with the sand and not trusting gear. Would consider going back when we’re feeling more confident in our trad skills. Beautiful approach with a herd of longhorn sheep!

Sep 6, 2025 · TR. Warm-up route with pigeon babies/mama in an alcove halfway up. Solid top-rope anchor position for a variety of routes if you’re willing to deal with moving the belay around a bit and be watchful of rope-eating cracks.

Grand Inquisitor
Sep 6, 2025 · TR. The beginning of this was very challenging, as described- took a bit to figure out the sequence. The middle section is easy and then there’s one more committing side pull section near the top. The beginning could make this sketchy to lead. For top rope the rope kept getting sucked into a small crack that led to Merissa being unable to lower without passing the crux and traversing to lower right of the crack.
