My partner did not appreciate this as the flake sounded hollow/thin - I thought it sounded more thin than hollow. Given that the jug was ont he end of the flake and the cam placement was closer to the wall, I figured the moment applied by climbing/pulling on the flake would be more than the force of the fall on the cam. Moment = force x distance. But who knows.. Trad, TR Palisades Park
