Description
Crux is low, right where the crack constricts and your forced to stem slowly until you gain the reopened crack again. Pull the final few moves to a chimney with a lie down rest! When your ready proceed to squeeze through this chimney exiting just before it closes completely, finish a few slaby moves up the crack to a loose block. Just before the wall becomes overhung traverse right to the tree and rappell!
Big thanks to adhithiyan for his trad rack, guidance, support, and willingness to belay on a tough day. Without him this wouldn't have been possible!
Location
It's between back scratcher and depth charge. It's the obvious crack on the left side of the wall between the two. If you see lichen your too close to back scratcher.
Protection
I used bd cams .2, 2 .4's, a .5, a .75, a 2, and 2 3's along with a 7 nut to secure the route. However a double small (0.4-1) and a few fist sized cams should be fine. As for rappelling use the "tree", or what's left of it to construct an anchor to your standards. Be sure to position your rope well to swing left and grab your pro!
