Warning Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Fun way to reach the top. Great holds and feet for the person who wants to place a bit of gear with some bolts protecting a short crux.

Take the ramp to a bolt on the adjacent wall and make an airy step up on really fun holds and crimps to two horizontal bands to place some small gear. Continue up to a thin crack to clip the chains on top of the boulder. Relish in the fact that you got to the top without using the third class ramp in the back.

Descent: Belay your partner up to the top and make it feel like a little desert tower and walk off the back (recommended) or lower or rappel back down. WATCH THE ENDS OF YOUR ROPE! Its a rope stretcher to come back down.

Location Suggest change

Start on either the left crack of You Are What You Eat or the right crack of Baseboy (more difficult), eventually transferring over to the face to the left of Baseboy. Top out.

Protection Suggest change

2 bolts and some small and finger sized cams. Bolted anchors on top.
