Description
This is the super fine line from Observatory Ledge that follows a crack until it disappears into a face-climbing finish. Great hands and fingers climbing, place a few small but obvious and bomber pieces, then game on!!!!
Location
On Observatory Wall between Solar Eclipse and Luna Lumina. Climb Space Shuttle to Observatory Ledge. From the anchors, climb another 15' to a big ledge with anchors in a comfy alcove. Take the left start through one bolt to a short easy slab which leads to the base of a hand crack with interesting bulbous rock. One can try the slightly harder start for Luna which heads right from the belay through 2 bolts to the slab. Trend left from here to find the Goodnight Moon crack.
