Description

A hard working hobo who laid and maintained the rail lines was a Gandy Dancer. Start at the Toe, on sloping jugs to a brief layback crack. Long steep face moves mark the crux, though one can avoid it by going off-route to the left. Continue past a dubious horn and a thoughtful finish.

Location

Right of South of No North, and is the first route as you come down the small hill from the big log and base of Hobo Hash.

Protection

7 bolts to 2 bolt chain anchor with ClimbTech mussy hooks.

i thought it was closer to the higher end of 10 than the lower, might be due to a couple height dependent moves...that being said, for shorter people, its FUN! Jul 18, 2012

Committing move before the first clip, stick clip recommend, if you're into that sort of thing. Jul 26, 2012

Fun climb! Those start holds might feel like jugs to some people, but they seemed pretty slopey to me. I rated this climb 11a for a high heel hook I had to throw up to move past the second bolt. Nov 12, 2014
