Description

Pile Driver is just a few feet to the right of Atomic Knee Drop. Look for a large, thick flake that starts off vertical, and then diagonals to the right towards the top. The most difficult climbing is through the vertical section of the flake (large cams helpful). From the ledge on top of the flake, continue up the face to some trees that you can use for an anchor. Either rap back down to the base with one rope, or walk off to the left.

Protection

Large cams helpful along the flake. Anchor off trees at the top.

Not sure why this one messed with me so much, but I got into a really awkward position and had to start it over. I figured it out quickly on try 2, but for me it was not as straight forward as it seemed.

A top rope can be set up on the ledge this climb shares with the others on the wall. Tie off of a boulder and a couple of trees and you're set for both Pile Driver and Spinning Back Kick Nov 22, 2015

Fun off-width all you need is a #5 and #4 and then route is done. I have seen a #6 used on this flake before... Sep 14, 2015
