Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

The shortest approaches in the entire Refuge. Great climbing of all sorts on the mighty mount. Turon haven!

Getting There

The road way up Mount Scott is back open, but has new rules. Cars/bikes are not allowed until AFTER noon on Saturday and Sunday.

****WMWR: If you would like to hike Mt. Scott, you are able to do so anytime from sunrise to sunset, Monday through Thursday. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you can hike from sunrise to noon (12:00 p.m.). Please note, that hikers have exclusive access to the mountain on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Friday through Sunday, hikers must be off the mountain by noon. We ask hikers to protect yourself by knowing how much time you have. Respect other groups by knowing the schedule and acting accordingly.
