Description Suggest change

This area is home to a few nice boulders, worth going out and trying. It’s named for the distinctive “fire rock” which can be seen from the road.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the second pullout. Look up hill for the boulder with what looks to be a flame on it. Scramble up the the rocks next to the road and you will come across the “Under Fire” Project. The Dr Scoot boulder is around 30 yards southwest of here.
