Description

Start as for Kerplunk, but after you reach the ramp, head up the crack system that pretty much goes straight up. Steep but lots of holds.

Location

See Ker Plunk. Ends on a ledge with trees - rap anchor on ledge to right.

Protection

Nuts and Cams 3", slings.

Super tight fit in the large crux crack, I got stuck a couple times trying to squirm my way through it, used a couple #4s I believe to protect. Was able to get the onsight, but not without a lot of tweaking of the body. It's a real difficult 5.7 in my opinion because of the last crack system, one could argue it could go at 5.8. Nov 12, 2017

I really liked this route. The first crux is coming off and around the big fin. The second crux is higher up in the off width. You can rap from boulders or the chains about 20 feet right of top out. Sep 15, 2015
