Effective 8:00am, May 19th, 2022, the Santa Fe National Forest has issued a stage 3 (full closure) fire restriction order for the entire Santa Fe national forest. The order can be found at fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DO…
The order is effective until December 31, 2022 or until rescinded earlier. Before you climb in any of the Santa Fe areas, you are encouraged to verify the land management status of the particular area to ensure it is not within the closure order area.
The MountainProject forum thread at mountainproject.com/forum/t… does a good job of detailing what is closed and what is open in the state of New Mexico.

Per the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Taos Field Office's (blm.gov/office/taos-field-o…) 2012 Taos Resource Management Plan (RMP) (bit.ly/2Kab3HO), "Installation of new rock climbing routes or hardware will require pre-approval by the BLM." The RMP is the document that guides all the BLM management in a given field office. Climbers are asked to respect this guidance and not install new bolts or fixed hardware on Taos Field Office BLM land without pre-approval from the BLM. NM CRAG (nmcrag.org/) is currently working with the BLM Taos Field Office to establish specific guidance for new route development in the district and they hope to have a formal process in the near future.
Description
There was mention of this route under the description for Lucy. Has a bouldery 12b start and a very exciting 12c finish on a delicate powerful face. Very pretty.
Location
This route is to the right of Mastodont, the steep 13c to the far left of cave with 3 fixed clips in the middle or to the left of Lucy. Can finish upper section of Lucy after you pull the second roof if hard face climbing is not your style.
