A good roof problem and a couple face problems. I don't know the official name and FA info, but am just posting it as "shop roof" until I get the info. To work in the shop you have to wear safety glasses and a dust mask... this roof is quite sandy but sports some excellent moves are large holds. on the right side of the lower opening facing martini madness, it looks like there is a problem, then further right on the arete there is a good problem with a couple variations. From Martini Madness, go back a ways to a tunnel/roof boulder with black spray paint at the lower entrance which faces martini madness.
Often compared to Stonehenge in it's mystery and aura, this climbing mecca is sure to replace the fabled Camp 4 as the next proving ground for up and coming StoneMasters. Situated near the heart of the cultured college town of Isla Vista, this hunk of fiberglass is perched in the middle of Trigo-Pasado Park. The "natural" features make this fairly legitimate in possibilities for traverse, sit start, and elimination potential. Ample wood chips make for cozy landings, though significant potential exists for dangerous if not life-threatening frisbee crossfire. Access issues: parking. With 20 people living in a house that sports parking spaces for 2 cars, where do you think the extra vehicles go? In your way. The park spans a lot betwixt Pasado and Trigo about a half block west of Camino Pescadero. Approximate approach time: between 14 seconds and a few minutes, depending on whether the parking gods deemed your last sacrifice worthy.
Nice sunny crag. The rock quality is not as good as the other areas in the playground however the routes are significantly longer than Little Lebowski and the Ampitheater. Land of the Lost is a ten to fifteen minute hike from Little Lebowksi and the Ampitheater. It is easy enough to get lost trying to get there the first time. My recommendations are to hike down past the Guardian and trend left and down till you enter the burned area. From there you should be able to see the backside of the crag. Keep hiking and scrambling downhill and you will find it eventually. Alternatively, you can walk from the Little Lebowski by walking out the back of the area, down the creek bed and then continuing downhill for ten to fifteen minutes going left when possible.
