Cathedral Traverse
Aug 26, 2026 · Climbed/walked/rapped with Joy ~22hr day sounds a little worse than it was. Hit the OS downclimbing at last light. Everything after that took a long time. Climbing out of Gunsight notch is tricky. Easy line exists, but hard to discern. I blew it. Italian cracks were excellent and more moderate than advertised. Some pitches felt like scrambling with a rope. Amazing day out and a great way to experience this group of peaks.

Aug 9, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Climbed as a warm up - not great. Some nice finger locks in the middle section. Fun sequences. Very hard move to clip the chains. Maybe I missed something.

Aug 9, 2026 · Follow. Climbed today with Ross. Crux pin scar section felt hard for the grade, but probably just weak.

Aug 5, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. Not bad at all. Some stemming gets the job done.

Jul 25, 2026 · Follow. First route on the Diamond - climbed with Strong Eric. First party to reach broadway ledge, which was a big surprise. Excellent rock, sporty movement and thin air. The 11c pitch felt a bit hard for me. Cryptic, but also probably just hard. Given the potential for afternoon storms I didn’t spend much time trying to work any moves and just aided through. Thought that the 11a pitch that followed was also very difficult, but that may have just been my inability to recover from the pump. Took Kiener’s to the summit, which was also empty. Weather remained fine as we made a casual descent via Cables route. Roughly 15hrs c2c
