Description
This tower is located about half way between the Black Dike col and Irene's Arete. It has a long southern wall with two established quality routes and and few other routes of low 5th class on the Tower. The rock on the tower is of good quality, especially the two southern routes. The two southern routes are known as the Corkscrew and FNG.
Getting There
The tower is best reached heading up the climbers trail from the Caves camp. Hike up the main trail headed towards the Lower Saddle. Cross the creek that is the outlet of the Teepe Glacier and take the trail that leads up towards the glacier and the JHMG camp. Walk almost half way up to the glacier and the base of the tower will be on your right. Cross the creek again and boulder hop to the base of the tower. Expect 20-25 minutes from the caves camp. This will put you to the base of the two quality routes that lead to the top of the watchtower.
