The Nose
Mar 29, 2026 · 28 pitches. Lead. Season opening butt whooping w Benjamin. 12:20ish. Def not in iad shape. edit: after thinking about all the time we burned (both of us w/ hiccups, and me replacing a bit of tat), we would have been 11:30-11:45 w/ no issues, so I guess not the worst season opener.

Lurking Fear
Dec 15, 2025 · Lead. One last lap to cap a decent year. only 1hr of sleep, have to stop doing this, didn't work well, lost my balls somewhere and climbed like a turtle, 5:23 to pillar (wtf?). Thankfully Brady brought us to the top at 9:20ish for unroping. Can prob leave the ikea offset from now on, might bring small mastercams though. Otherwise rack was great. Tshirt weather at Christmas, still can't stop laughing about that.

Lurking Fear
Nov 24, 2025 · Lead. 10th lap on EC. Not a soul around, tshirt weather all day long, barely any dampness, freaking bluebird day in the valley. Almost hot. Need more fitness, would help a lot for both of us. 9hr flat to end of real climbing, maybe 9:20 if including the slab slog. 4:40 for my block to pillar - that def needs to get much closer to 4hr. Being belayed through p6 traverse was clutch, much better than short fixing it. Can wait for follower at p7 anchor drop all offsets except Micky D's and Ikea. No camhooks. possibly drop a 3. Could likely drop a purple and a 2. Maybe pare draws down to 10. (8?). 4 fixing kits is nice, keep them.

After Party
Sep 23, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. The 2nd pitch is a classic, full value and decidedly sustained. Would swear I used 13 draws (only need to extend 1 or 2) on that pitch, so be forewarned. Finally lets up after the final bolt, last 15’ to anchor are cruiser.
