Description Suggest change

Coco Petals climbs the big pillar in the middle of the crag, then up the face above. Another pitch continues up to the top of the formation. The first pitch anchor is equipped with mussies for easy single-pitch use of the route.

P1: 5.9, 11 bolts, 85'. Climb up the pillar’s face starting just left of the big, right-facing flake, and follow bolts up the center of the pillar. Atop the pillar is a ledge and a beautiful, black-varnished face with a series of angling flakes above. Climb up the face and flakes to a ledge with mussy anchors to facilitate easy single-pitch use of this route. Note: the route, Fontanar de Rojo, crosses the ledge atop the pillar from the right and continues up the splitter corner crack above and left of the ledge.

P2: 5.10a, 9 bolts, 60'. A second pitch goes another 60’ up slabby white rock to an anchor on a ledge near the top of the formation. This is mostly 5.8 climbing with a well-protected, slabby, 10a crux move.

Location Suggest change

Located in the middle of the crag between the two trad, rojo routes at a large pillar/flake. The start is on the face of the pillar, a few feet to the left of the big, right-facing flake that forms the right side of the pillar. This right-facing flake is the shared start of the rojo routes. The start is technically between Coco Puffs and the Rojos routes but the majority of the route is between the Rojos routes. See topo.
