Description Suggest change

A nice gently overhanging route! Start on the suspicious looking pillar (I couldn't get it to budge) and continue relatively straight up. Stick clipping the first bolt is recommended to remove any risk for the start. You will move left and right over the bolt line, but do not adventure far from the safety of the bolts. I did my best to use my rock hammer to get this short phoenix to rise from the choss ashes, but I could not completely clean the panel of wall far away from the intended line on my first day bolting this section. It cleaned up to be a solid 3 star IMO but I could be biased based on its sustained nature. A surprising amount of nice pump on this one with a mixture of lip encounters/face/jug/crimp climbing.

Location Suggest change

Furthest right on the Main Wall section before you turn the corner and approach the Los Rios mid cliff section. Look for the upward tapering pillar with a monster jug point on the top for the start. Remnants of the original choss pillar have made a nice flat platform in the trail.

Protection Suggest change

6 bolts and an anchor set with a couple lower carabiners.
