Land owners have acknowledged the recreation use of this crag and the Otowi Peak trail. They have not chosen to restrict access at this time. Be sure to park and access this crag via public land access points (see "getting there")

Details
The BLM Taos Field Office implemented a Climbing Fixed Hardware Authorization Process for routes within its management area. The Diablo walls included in this plan are The Shack, Winter Wall, Sun Devil Wall, Solar Cave, Lake Street and Styx. The final document can be found online: shorturl.at/FYn4f
Description
Nothing to write home about, but perhaps a nice transition from hiking to climbing. Start in the dihedral left of Invasive Species. After 2nd bolt, veer left and follow bolts to the top of the cliffband. A 70 meter rope is enough to get you down, but it wouldn't hurt to knot the end. Route is still cleaning up, and is ledgy, so pay attention. If you stray very far from the bolt line to avoid the handful of 5.10 moves, you'll surely do some inadvertent cleaning, which your belayer may not appreciate.
